Never seen Barrett fight before but he looked pretty good. Good foot and hand speed. He seems to lack some power and he looks a bit small for a heavyweight though

WOW Danny Williams is going out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,426 ✭✭✭clubwelly

Typical Danny with his split personalities.
Barrett must be happy out to see baker kill himself to get thru

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,378 ✭✭✭✭nacho libre

i missed the start. is Williams really out of it already?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 998 ✭✭✭Chriscl1

I backed barrett couple of days ago. 20 @ 14-1 to reach final and 20 @ 25-1 to win the final. His cousin from manchester rang me few weeks back to get on it. To be honest i didnt know anything about him.

Wiliams gone yeah... Barrett showed a good chin in the last. Danny Williams is a clown in fairness.

Some CRAZZZY odds being thrown about here, Audley is 1/7 here??? I think he might lose tbh, lost 4/8 of his last fights!?

Ya. Baker knocked him down twice in the first and then had to cling on in the 3rd to get the decision

Audley Harrison is too tentative, he'll probably still win this one, though.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,956 ✭✭✭consultech

I was trying to get odds on <10 Punches thrown all night by Audley Harrison... Couldnt, gutted.

it's so frustraing to watch Harrison. he has oodles of talent but has no confidence in himself.

    quick question?
given the novelty nature of the event : does the outcome affect a fighters record.
i.e. does a loss in prizefighter count as a loss on your record..therefore if you win are you suddenly 3 wins to the good reocrd-wise?

He fought really well there. Adjusted well after being out of range too often in the first round. Good luck to him in the final

its a cracking format. would love to see a version with the worlds best in each weight class. Where fighters would give anything to be part of it.

the different in class told in the end.

still Barrett proved a lot of people wrong by getting to the final. so fair play to him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 66 ✭✭marcusluck

he walked on to a big left hand.. fair play to coleman, to be honest he can go on from here they were all good fight he was in...
    but i hate fraudly:mad:

Coleman was winning the fight alright. I think that shot to the back of his head stunned him leaving him open to the KO shortly after. Did very well all the same.

yeah it wasnt jus da KO punch. he was stunned at the time the ref split him and i thought he was bout to be knocked

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 998 ✭✭✭Chriscl1

I think the ref could have let him fight on seeing it was only 3 sounds. Ah well. Fair play to coley for doing so well. He looked good for a blow up cruiser
