    In CIT the grades are given as A, A-, B+, B, B-.
    I was wondering what is a B+ the equivalent of in the system of 1st class honours, 2.1, 2.2, etc?
    Also, what is a B?

    A = 80-100%
    B+ =70-79%
    B = 60-69%
    H1 = 70-100% overall average
    H21 = 60-69%
    H22 = 50-59%

    A CIT B+ is worth 3 silver stars

    Once you have 15 silver stars you can apply to graduate (except in civ eng which requires 16 silver stars)

    Once you've graduated you can apply to sit another CIT degree, once you've completed 5 CIT degrees your awarded a FETAC Level 5 cert

    On being awarded a level 5 you can apply to resit your leaving cert and try to get into UCC
