Cross Trainer - good value anywhere?

    Thought I might post this here (I have already posted in 'Bargain Alerts - requests', but I think most of the people who know their stuff about this would be on the Fitness threads). Apologies if it's in the wrong place... mods please feel free to move it.:o
    I'm in the market for a decent Cross Trainer (Elliptical). Willing to pay around 300 - 350 euro or so. Would like something of the quality of a Nordic Track or similar, not the crap like Body Sculpture (or whatever it's called) from Elverys. Had one of them before (not the exact model they have and NOT bought from them, in fairness) and it wrecked my head with squeaks, clanks and general groaning before it clapped up after six weeks. Nordic Track and the likes generally seem to be available for around 600 or so, but I was wondering if any Boardsies knew of 'sale priced' ones?
    PS: I am mainly looking to tone up / lose weight around the upper body, I presume the Cross Trainer is the way to go? Any advice appreciated.
