I am buying AA at the open, technically the bottom is in for this cycle, I will be looking for an 8% gain within 2 days.

For Penny stocks ASUR would be my one to watch.. Anyone reading this please note Penny stocks are highly volitile and you can loose a lot of money playing them.

    Sunovia Energy Technologies, Inc.
    (Public, OTC:SUNV)

    Ticker: SUNV

This stock still has potential. I love the technology. Solar technology has always needed a better technology . I think there are other companies finding similar results. This was one lag on thin film solar cells and with the price of silicon dropping the competition is getting hot for thin film companies so this will be looked at.

No interest from US partner on flu vaccine. Cancer drug not even in Phase 3 trials yet. Company is a diluting machine. Caveat Emptor!!

No interest from US partner on flu vaccine. Cancer drug not even in Phase 3 trials yet. Company is a diluting machine. Caveat Emptor!!

It still has potential to climb rapidly on NEWS.

There was more than interest in the flu vaccine and they are already testing it. CEL-SCI Corporation announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has indicated that the Company can proceed with its first clinical trial to evaluate the effect of its investigational LEAPS-H1N1 treatment on the white blood cells of hospitalized H1N1 patients.

    Bio med report:
A potentially severe pandemic type of situation like this has not existed since 1917, and from an investor’s standpoint, we are left with only one clear map. If we know that historically “flu stocks” trade four to five times higher on Wall Street during the North American winter months, what might happen this year? Especially given all of these interesting revelations?

Cancer drug MultiKline has been approved by the FDA for phase III.Its important they get underway with Phase III but did they not just build a cold manufacturing facility for multikline phase III testing.

    Phase II
33% improvement in median overall survival:To put this in context, most cancer blockbusters have been approved on a 10 % increase in overall survival, so a 33% improvement over what can be expected from the current therapy is considered extraordinary, and a 10% increase in phase III would be sufficient.

Dilution, They did raise 20 million in a stock offering in september and the share price did drop. However...

    CVM employees buying shares

ALOR EYAL, Senior Vice President Acquired 2,939 Shares 09/30/2009 @ $1.71

    PRICHEP PATRICIA B, Senior Vice President Acquired 6,200 Shares 09/30/2009 @ $1.71

    KERSTEN GEERT R, Chief Executive Acquired 8,596 Shares 09/30/2009 @ $1.71

    Lots of criticism here however.

They are only testing their drug on the white blood cells of infected patients. The FDA have not approved testing in humans yet. It is important to note that Cel-Sci approached a government agency with their treatment option for H1N1 and of course it was fast tracked as this is a serious unmet medical need. I just don't see any real interest yet.

Biomed are a P&D site. imo. What they fail to mention is that the Phase III trial was approved by the FDA nearly 3 years ago and the manufacturing plant was completed the end of 2008. Why has a "blockbuster" drug been in limbo this long and where are the US partners?

This is like a token gesture (or more like clever ploy) when you consider that the same employees were granted millions of stock options @ .38

My skepticism of this company will never wane as i have watched them promote their products for years. They have flogged their LEAPS technology every chance they get from the days of SARS, Avian Flu and Anthrax to now Swine flu and never once have they delivered anything. It's all fluff and the CEO is the king of rhetoric. imo.

Check out the following shareholder letters that their CEO used to promote the company. Especially note his sudden lack of excitement during the bank crisis but with the arrival of the Swine Flu he is back to himself. This guy is a gem. Caveat Emptor!!

I tried to insert a chart here but it doesnt show, does anyone know how to insert an image

To insert an image you can use the message tool box icon that has a grey landscape mountain image in a yellow box. You simply put the url or link in between the two brackets the yellow message box provides.

Usually if you use photobucket they already provide the image brackets.

If your using your own pictures then You must use photobucket or something similar to upload the chart pic to. Then you copy the link from photobucket and post it here on the forum. That's routine unless you have the url from the website where the chart is.

Quote this and look at the link for my chart. CNO is a great looking stock and if cramer is right that we are in phase II of reversal then its a good pick.

Trading4fun you know a fair amount about CVM.I really only read a few articles and was impressed with their manufacturing facility. They might intend to generate some cash before starting phase III testing.

As for being clever I suppose 80 million is nothing to laugh at and that might have been the agenda, i am not sure about this company but at .55 cents around the time it was circulating i think it was a good stock.

I was reading an article about re orders from customers like country clubs and golf clubs, and they have just shown their organic fertilizer to be better than other competing natural or syntetic fertilizers.

So next quarter things might improve. Its not a great value stock looking at the balance sheet but they seem to have paid of some debt which is good.

They have never made a profit though so as far as coin goes i will catch it on a dip for 2010. Next year i think after a good quarter and some more good news this will spike.

I made 30% last month and I lost some money in the last week chasing a dividend and there was that stop loss I didn't set . The usual crap that destroys weeks of hard work

Oh yeah pockets, The old buy and hold golden rule.

I am not up an amazing amount. My broker is up a few thousand more than i am. I am aware of the mistakes i have made and i have learned. The golden rule is actually also worthwhile, when its a bull market and the corrections are obvious. That is possibly the safest play and wouldnt it be great if that continues.

I have paper traded so to speak and have maintained a thread of picks over the last 2 months which have gained an average of 10 - 20 % every day. I buy it and sell it when i have found something better. Stocks are unpredictable, I had RINO and i grew impatient and sold it and two minutes later it went up almost $2.Since i sold it it has gone up $11 or almost doubled. Its a bitter battle with plenty of pain and misery but eventually i hope to organise myself better and actually take larger gambles and make some money.

I have to brag that during the last weeks correction i found one of the very few stocks that went green trolling through hours of data.

I never mentioned any Buy and Hold strategy or Golden Rule.

I just said it would be interesting if someone kept a log to see if any of this short term trading worked over the long term. Anyone can post how they made 30% in one day on some BS, penny stock in the US. The question is will you go broke with this strategy in the long run.

It seems you have no set strategy? That seems dangerous to me.

If your trades for the last two months were up on average 20% per day - a €100 investment with you two months ago would be worth nearly €150,000 today

Where is this thread mentioned above?

Lol $150,000 ha ha ha not not possible. A trader the harder he works the more his money account begins to look like the just another chart, with up's and downs. You cannot escape that reality. The less you trade the more it looks like a savings account. Its hard and requires intelligent discipline.

No i am a hopeless bastard but I am organizing an office up stairs so hopefully when i get out of the sitting room i can manage things better. Some days i make a few grand and other i screw it all up. I just have to fine tune the screw ups out of my process and i should make lots of money.

Edit: I am not overly sold on the chart. It needed to move up today and didn't but that has to be a great product, you can even treat addicts with it.

No i am a hopeless bastard but I am organizing an office up stairs so hopefully when i get out of the sitting room i can manage things better. Some days i make a few grand and other i screw it all up. I just have to fine tune the screw ups out of my process and i should make lots of money.

You bad boy.I would be careful with CVM. Its going to swing alright but you should buy on dips be bullish on it, not bearish.

You are "trading" a stock with a $27m market cap
    Are you serious?

I wouldn't buy CVM with monopoly money. Management have no integrity. The questions Adam F. raises are legitimate and they refuse to answer them. Red flags abound. Caveat Emptor!!

Are you asking me? If yes, then the reason i shorted them yesterday was because the news they released was fluff. It was an exploratory trial often referred to as Stage 0 with 9 patients. Their lead drug just failed trials recently and they are starved of cash. I expected an offering but when it didn't happen before market open i covered. Of course 2 minutes later they PR'ed it. Normally these PR's are released prior to open.
Shorting smallcaps stocks is risky but not in this case. By the way it was trading up 200% when i shorted it.

?? Not sure what you mean by this.

Its a very ambiguous statement alright. maybe it means it will fall that much or that it might gain 20%.??
    Anyway...

So how do you find short selling trading for fun, i see it as very risky. What advantages are you finding over a regular speculation with a margin account, Also can you use your buying power to short sell.
