I remember when Byte first joined this forum, he was Irish Blimp.

Byte and Watty leaving, both of you will be missed.

The ICDG forum, down through the years, we did many a campaign for ITV, BBC on the EPG etc etc, and maybe we made a difference, maybe not. But we all had fun and helped each other on the way. Thank you so much Byte. Thank you also Watty.:D

Loved reading Byte and Wattys to the point info, always very helpful. Will be very sadly missed. How much of a bribe would it take to get you both back, I have 3 or 4 packets of Sherbet Dip Dabs with your names on them.:)

For reasons I won't go into, I've decided to hang the mod boots up and step back.

I'll still be lurking in the midst and possibly posting from time to time.

This forum (and indeed the Television forum we used to mod together) owes you a lot of credit. Over the past 8 years :eek: you have certainly played a massive part in the success of the ICDG/C&DTV forum here & helped me out a few times too.

Well, sorry to see you go. always enjoyed your contributions, common sense , first rate technical knowledge and sense of humour.

I'm a relative newcomer to posting on Boards but have been an avid reader this past 2 or 3 years and for me Byte always stood out as a very helpful, fair, unbiased and uncomplicated Mod.

A few other Mods occasionally went on power trips but not Byte, without doubt he was one of the good ones and will be sorely missed but thankfully I notice he's still posting and hopefully he'll continue to help answer and explain the many many queries posted up on this brilliant forum.

Best wishes in your semi (hopefully thats all it is!!) retirement
