    Hi,

I'm considering trying to put together an evening course geared towards both beginners and intermediate users of Google SketchUp

As you can imagine it difficult to garner interest and establish if this is a viable option? So i decided to see what members of this forum think?

It will be ran in Shannon Area and be very reasonably priced. The beginner course will be 2 nights a week for 4 weeks (2 hrs per session) and the intermediate for 6 weeks.

Second option is 3 full days (Beginner) 5 full days (intermediate)

The full day would be a Saturday or Sunday

    What you think?

I was considering doing something similar in Dublin, but havent gotten around to researching it yet. Are you planning on doing it in a school/college?

I saw recently that fas have a job for a sketchup trainer in Ennis, so there must be a demand for it down there. I've been using it for 4 years now almost full time, although Im unsure how exactly to get to a level of Instructor. Do you have a qualification in training? For all I know, I could be great at sketchup, but not very good at teaching/getting the message across.

It's advertised on the fás site.

I just saw now it seems the contact details are for Mike Lucey, who you may know from the SU forums. If this job was in Dublin I'd be handing in my notice right now!!!!

Can I ask where you trained as an instructor?
