Power required for GPS reciever

    Hello,

    Can anyone tell me how much power is required for a GPS reciever such as in a mobile phone.Also can anyone give me a price on these recievers per unit.I have looked on the net and contacted companies in China etc,but all failing to reply,even a ball park figure would be appreciated.

    Sorry to be blunt but you are very unlikely to get that information publicly from any company.
    They would never reveal their gross margin, cost per unit to manufacture to anyone but internal staff.

    Thats a fair enough point ,but could anyone tell me a retail price for evry 1000 units for instance.
