New here, so rather than list everything I've read so far this year (not too much, to be honest), I thought I'd mention the last book I read.

It was Any Human Heart by William Boyd. An excellent account, told in journal entries, of one man's life through the 20th Century. The protagonists starts off as a somewhat unlikeable character, but by the end you'll feel a lot of sympathy towards him. One of the best books I've read in a long time.

I'm now reading 2666 by Roberto Bolano and will report on that when I'm done.
