Rip it all up and relay with new chipboard, it will be faster then trying to remove glued on cork tiles.

The only problem with that is, that its in a bathroom. Cast iron bath, toilet and hand basin would need to be moved.

Is it possable to leave the cork tiles where they are and apply the
    new floor over them?
Only other option really is as suggested above, removing the chipboard.
