project boat rebuild

    Hi I'm rebuilding a old fibreglass boat with my dad and I got a chrysler 6 hp outboard off a friend of dads its from 1967 I stripped it down being careful to take photos. But mum deleted them off the camera I have most of it back together but I'm having trouble with the timing set up and the carb set up too, does anyone know where I might get the info I need.

    You might try Brian Hughes in kileen Marine in Dalkey.
    he used to work for western marine and they were the Chrysler Agents a long time ago.
    Brian would have worked on the engines.
    He may have some of the old manuals.
    Chrysler Marine in the UK were based in Eastley near Southampton so if you don't have any luck with Brian you may try some marine forum based around south UK.
    There is also usually a few for sale on ebay for parts
