The other thread got a tad messy, we're having drinks this Wednesday 30th of September.

All welcome, bring friends if it'd make anyone feel more comfortable! I'm going to suggest Caulfields because it's so nice

I'm around from 6ish, not going to bother going home after class.

New to the college, just started a masters in military history in nuim and I have 60% of all my classes # together in a row til 8pm on Wednesday ( quite outrageous) so ill be feeling thirsty that evening.

I've never used boards before much apart from seeing what poker tourneys are on, however despite my gruelling lecture schedule im hoping to be able to squeeze a little bit of socialising in this academic year.

ill pm the mod now to confirm its ok for a randomer like myself to turn up

if you really arent sure, just call out R.O.F.L and the first person to snort and correct you because its actually pronounced "roffle" will be a comp sci student. the people looking really embarrassed for him while still managing to appear almost normal will be the boardsies.

The guys at the bar spending money and talking about internetz stuff are Intel workers out for a drink in a "foreign" place for a bit of variety. John, is really just tagging along because he wants to fit in but when he spills his blackcurrant all over naomi's dress (who he has secretly pined after for the last five years) his resolve solidifies and he mentally starts assembling the high powered rifle and can see, in his minds eye, the spot with the best views of the entrances to FAB24......
