I love Sonic and Knuckles, and would never disparage it.

But some of its levels and music are on the Sonic 3 cartridge as unfinished code.

Sonic 3 was taking too long and getting too large, so to recoup the costs Sega cut some of the later content, with the intention of releasing it later as a stand alone title with the "Snap in cartridge".

Sonic 3 & Knuckles is essentially the true Sonic 3.

I honestly don't see console games even making decent use of patching let alone relying on it.

I'd say not even half of the console games released nowadays are "done right before release" and the ones that aren't usually don't even get patched.

Rumors that Rufus health has dropped 100 and Abel and Honda have dropped 50.

Honda's S.HP and Neutral Jump Hard Punch have both been nerfed by 20 damage both down to 120 damage.

If Super Street Fighter IV is successful, will you continue with the series or will you look to move onto other fighting games?
I have no intention of carrying on Street Fighter IV into Hyper Street Fighter IV or Ultra Street Fighter IV, because I'm aware of the mistakes Capcom has made in the past. Super Street Fighter IV should be the distinctive end. Obviously there can be updates via DLC so perhaps in 2011, we could upload a patch for Super Street Fighter IV 2011 edition that would have tuning and balancing. But as a packaged product, I think this is the last.

While you've brought back fan favourites such as Ibuki, Makoto and Cody there are plenty of others throughout Street Fighter history such as Birdie, R.Mika and Rolento who haven't made the cut. Where there any old characters who almost made Super Street Fighter IV?
On our list, Birdie and Sodom were bottom [laughs]. But Rolento was quite close. In fact, there's actually a stage in Super Street Fighter IV that is supposed to be Rolento's stage. We weren't sure until the last minute whether it should be Rolento or Adon. In the end, Adon won by a small margin but it was close.

So how Adon end up making the final cut rather than Rolento?
We weren't aware that Adon is so popular. Obviously people from the Alpha 3 days loved him because he's so strong. In the end, the popularity became two or three times more compared to Rolento, so we had to pick him.
