    Sounds fun right?

I read that Fedor Emilyenko (sp?) and other MMA guys have incorporated this into their routine.
Has anyone here tried it and what do they think of it?

Correct me if im worng but are they doing it all wrong...as far as i know...the idea is for the tyre to be knee hight and for the grip to me wide and open handed not like in the that vid where its more like a deadlift stance...

I've done it and found it pretty mind numbing, but some people swear by it.

If you're a professional athlete like abovementioned you'll want to mix in something different now and again. For the average punter, I would imagine it's far more hassle than it's worth (unless you live on a farm).

In this vid 5 mins in you'll see a wide grip used, with very low hip position, driving through from the legs using less 'bicep' than the Ulster rugby team.

It's a good way to teach your whole body to work as a unit on a heavy lift. Dependin on how you do it can be hell on the knees though.

In raw, last week. tire flips for reps in 60 seconds, found it good, very tiring, np pun intended.
