    It is good to see the (mostly) positive replies. I have been surfing regularly there for 15+ yrs and have never had an issue. A little respect goes a long way. Golfers are there to golf, we are there to surf, hang out, walk or whatever.

    Loctite, the behaviour you noted would not be acceptable anywhere, did you report it to the club? Were you on public property at the time, or the golf cubs private road, not that it makes it any more acceptable?

    Just as an aside, the WCSC does not only have membership from 'further north' of Doughmore. Its members are from across the country but in particular, many parts of Clare. It is not the Lahinch Surf Club, but te West Coast Surf Club
