Bring holy water? Man, you have to think this through, that's just gonna p1ss off the S man even more. Rather, give your heart and soul over to our Lord Satan, rape a virgin and dous yourself in the tears of children on the morning of the flight, thus ensuring the Prince of Darkness' blessing on your voyage. Your welcome.

    Man that is unlucky.
    Holy water's worth a shot i guess.

I've flown that flight number many times to Birmingham. Other than the miserable amount of leg room, bitchy flight attendants, horrible pre-flight music/ads, the overflowing fat of the person next to you spilling onto your armrest, you should be fine.

The real answer? Ridiculous amounts of crime (ended up being broken into at least once a month) and rising racial tensions.

What part of Brum you coming to? :P

i think you should be more worried that its with ryanair than 666.

by this stage i think there one step away from drugging the passengers and getting them married in vegas, divorced and stealing half their stuff.

666 on a Ryanair flight just means Michael O Leary will be on board, that's all.
In the front part of the cabin, you know the curtained off area with the sulphur and screams coming from it?

On a related note, I got return flights to France for 2 cent with Ryanair last night, and only €10 extra in handling fees. That's a pretty good deal.

I used an electron got 3 seats round trip for 12 cents which means I am traveling first class on ryanair with a whole row of seats to myself, but I am not going to hell and back

you'll be grand, the pilots also don't like flights with 666 so they fly these flights upside down so that the flight number automatically becomes 999 which means the fire and ambulance service will be on standby for the inevitable crash.

If the plane flies upside down, wouldn't it be flight 999, therefore no problem?

(until it had to flip back over for the landing, when it would be 666 again.)

Like Final Destination, if you survive the flight, you'll probably be swallowed by an escalator at the Bull Ring Shopping Centre.:(

Basically, with all the available information, the odds are stacked against you, and you're screwed whatever you do.

No it isn't, it was used as the number of the beast but it has been established that was an incorrect translation the actual number is 612. Proving the ridiculous claims of the number's power were always stupid.

    7 isn't lucky either

Don't worry - I was on that flight a couple of months ago and the emergency landing, after the engine fell off, only killed twenty of us.

that sounds like something they shouldnt do. Most skyscrapers wont have a 13th floor either: just goes 10 11 12 then 14.

That is not true either. Any time I am in a building with 13 or more floors I always check and not once have I seen a missing 13th floor. It is as idiotic as the notion 13 is bad luck

i saw on Nat Geo once that in china the number 8 is very unlucky so they dont have an 8th floor on most buildings over there

    dem chinese is crazy!

Ryanair flight 666 will not fly you to hell, but a destination 50 miles away (Kilbeggan).

i dont think you have anything to be scared about as long they put on a good movie to relax you say final destination, or red eye or Flightplan or passenger 57 or United 93

    :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 141 ✭✭sean0

I'd be scared because chances are your definitely going to die if you get on that death bird. Its destiny for the plane "666" to become the horrific plane crash tragedy 2009, soon after the conspiracies will start about the "666".

Your in a really bad situation now because if you don't get on the plane, you have then cheated death and death will come looking for you until finally you get hit by a lorry or something

It's actually 616. Many experts have debated it over the years. But they've come to the conclusion that 666 was misinterpeted, and is actually 616.

So yes OP. You're going to be fine........ Unless of course you're plane get's bombed by a hijacker with a bomb up his arse

Not idiotic at all - I've been in hotels (generally older ones) that had no 13th floor. http://realtytimes.com/rtpages/20020913_13thfloor.htm. But heck, in Ireland I'm trying to think if I've even been in any buildings that had ten floors, let alone thirteen.

On a similar note, in Korea, lots of buildings have no 4th floor. My apartment building didn't have it, nearly all of the hotels I stayed in didn't, the public buildings or office blocks I was indidn't either. Plus the kids I taught never wanted to be 4th in line for a test - "4 is die number teachaa!" Their word for four sounds the same as the word for death apparently. I've been told by friends in other Asian countries that in some apartment blocks they take it to real extremes - no apartment 4, 14, 24 etc - instead it either doesn't exist, or is called 3a, 13a, and so on.
