Hey. One of my current interests/hobbies is swing dancing. Lately my progression has brought me into the realm of lifts, dips and aerials. The lifts and dips are no problem but I feel I need to improve my strength for the aerials as the last thing I want to do is to drop a girl. Basically I need the strength/power to swing, flip, toss and rotate a girl around my shoulders/ above my head with ease. I can do aerials but not without strain.

    About me:
    Height: 5 foot 8 inches (1.72m)
    Weight: 200 pounds, 90kg
Body type: People remark that I am in good physical condition. If the conversation goes that way they do not believe that I do not work out/play rugby.

I know very little, if anything about personal fitness. I do not work out. I have been to a gym once in my life as a favour to a friend and know nothing about exercise/weight-lifting/nutrition. I believe that my current physical condition is due to heavy lifting while I worked construction, sports that I play and the dancing.

Any and all help tips and guides would be appreciated.
