Looks like I'll be heading to the Limerick date... Frightened Rabbit will be there too, and they're pretty good.

Might go see them in Dublin, although I will get to see them at ATP the weekend after.

Could be quite a few days. Sonic Youth, Florence and the Machine and Modest Mouse, all within 3 days! :D

i have tickets for ATP too.... but i booked them mainly for Modest Mouse - and now they are playing in Ireland - Typical :)

Gonna be an expensive couple of weeks -

do you know if you can sell on the ATP tickets or transfer them into somebody else's name?

    Thanks

You can sell them on alright. Although I think they will remain in your name and you just need to contact ATP saying that you bought them for those people and giving them permission to pick them up once they get to Minehead.

Still though ATP is going to be brilliant. I wouldn't cancel.

Can't wait for this. If tickets are cheap, I wouldn't mind doing a Galway-Limerick-Dublin.

Looks like it's only tickets for the Monday gig on sale on Wednesday. Are they going to wait and do a 'due to popular demand' extra night type thing despite the fact that we all know they're playing the Tuesday as well?

I want Tuesday tickets gosh darn it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,585 ✭✭✭honru

Yeah they usually add additional gigs at a later stage.

I'd hit this, ticket price is fair. Knowing myself I'll probably get lazy and miss out on tickets. :o

There's a 2nd night on for definite. They just haven't announced it yet but it's on both Modest Mouse's and Frightened Rabbit's tour dates.

Which night I wonder? I got my ticket anyway just in case, but I'm not a huge fan of Monday gigs. But a bird in the hand and all that...

Edit: I'm guessing Sunday night. Have a ticket anyway for the as-now one confirmed show, should be happy with that!

I was on ticketmaster at exactly 9 and they were already gone. No queue, not wait, just straight through to a page that said they were unavailable. How does that happen???

I'm travelling up from Tralee on the Sunday to see Sonic Youth so I figured I'd stay an extra night and go to this too, don't want to miss much college so wasn't going to stay in Dublin past Tuesday. Missed out seeing them while in America last year so I really want to see them, will try get a ticket for Limerick.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,986 ✭✭✭Spazdarn

Really want to see em in Dolan's dunno how i'd get a ticket though... they're not mentioned anywhere

does enybody know the answer to leshogan's question? when are the limerick gig tickets on sale? no mention on the dolan's website, ticketmaster or tickets.ie

I held off on getting tickets for the dublin gig cause the limerick one was on saturday..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7 AperfectMonarch

Same for me, I still can't understand why Ticketmaster allows people to buy up to 6 tickets for that kind of gig. It should be up to 2 and that's it ! Stupid ****in' Ticketmaster!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but there will be no Glaway or limerick gigs as of the latest info I have.

I rang both the Black Box and Dolans yesterday. The manager of Dolans said they have not heard anything in a long while about it and were not hopeful at all that it would go ahead. He said to take it that it is not on;(

Black box are ran through tht.ie site and I spoke to the manager there too and she said that she knew nothing about that gig and that it wasn't happening:( It only says on MM website that they are playing Dublin and Belfast:(

On the up side though my sister got four tickets this morning for the Monday night gig:) Happy Days, Academy is a great spot for a gig, only bout 1000 people by my estimation! Was at fight like apes and I'm from Barcelona there and both nights were epic. Pity its a Monday but thats what happens when its once in a blue moon that we get good bands!

i got my 4 tickets this morning, was going to wait for dolans gig but said it might be too risky, float on the academy.......yawww

their are still tuesady tickets available on ticket master well their was....
