Sorry, unless you're a large builder and a pal of FF, or a person with a large shareholding in one of the included banks, and probably still a pal of FF, you won't be getting looked after, you're merely going to pay for it.

Does this mean that Banamanama is getting back together again, after all these years?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 299 ✭✭Firefox10

All I think we will see out of this is History repeat itself unfortunately. FF will bet booted out come next election. Others will come in and clean up the mess and then they will get back into power again. Rinse and Repeat.

    Labour aren't in government.

I have a feeling that when this guys says "we need an economically right wing goverment" he actually means a government that will ban all parties to the left of themselves.

Can you point to any democratically elected right-wing government in history that has decreased the size of its state?

How are they facing left when they are trying to hand ot yet another bail out to the upper crust?

And the Progressive Democrats were communist I suppose?

If that is your definition of right wing than we have no right wing parties in Ireland. FF/PDs were as economically right as we will ever have in this country. Thank God.

On Joe Duffy they do a programme once a month where people call in with songs that they've written, amusing anecdotes, jokes and stories concerning various relevant news items. They call it funny Friday (what is supposed to pass for funny)
