have you been doing weights along with cardio?

your body has clearly adapted by now to all that cardio so well done on losing the weight but time to mix things up

If I were you I wouldn't worry about weightloss till after the marathon. You'll need those carbs for your training till you finish training and complete the race.

Then when ya have no massive commitments like that come back here and you'll get good advice.
When ya come back I'm gonna tell you to cut down the carbs a lot, start lifting weights and to count your calories!

But I think you should concentrate on your race for the time being. Best of luck.

I would echo what Funkz has said. Im also training for the DCM. Now is not the time to be worrying about anything other then marathon training. Normally i would say cut back on the carbs but NOT NOW! You only have, at most, 3 weeks of hard training left before you begin to taper off. You do not want to shock your body by changing your routine now as it could negatively impact on your marathon training and also the marathon itself as your body will have to adapt to chnges. Stick to what your body knows and is comfartable with. Anything else can wait till after Oct 26th.
