Say at home and recover. It is a courtesy to others not to spread your cold :)

You did not sweat it out!

it just served its time and is gone, training with a cold is foolish and can make it harder for your body to fight the cold/virus or whatever..

Actually people are trying to point out to you that what you did was foolish, counter-productive, selfish, self centered & anti-social.

Other than that, I'm glad to hear you made a speedy recovery.

Thanks, im thinking of marketing my "beat a cold in a hours workout".

I'll have to wait in 'till next time im ill to see if its necessary to superset bench press with rows or if doing the seperately will suffice.
im inclined to think you need to superset, as it really gets your sweat glands pumping, dtus removing the disease from the body.

i'll keep you updated :pac:

Exercise tends to lower the white blood cell count through increasing cortisol, theres been over 1000 studies on exercise and the immune sytem, mostly regarding how the immune system decreases after exercise leading to increased chance of getting sick...not too much regarding protocol when you are already sick.

Dub fit hit the nail on the head, althoughthere has been little research that regards humans (mostly animals)

Military Strategies for Sustainment of Nutrition and Immune Function in the Field (LC Rall, SN Meydani - 1999)

Exercising at moderate intensity with neck up infection will help (see below- J curve)

And Arky has a point...im sure sick people can exercise at home...if theres 20 people in the gym with ya...thats 20 people with a lowered immune system while exercising, all with a good chance of picking up the virus.
