81774 just showed City, and it was flawless, and united will be on there too.

I've tried from the iraqgoals to the Sopcasts and I just can't get a good stream for the Arsenal Utd game.

Hope this is the right place to post and sorry for my ignorance:o but could someone please explain how to get the matches on the laptop and how to find them.
Do I need to download particular software to watch eg sopcast, myp2p, veetle, tvAnts and all the rest?
I am wary of downloading this stuff without being too sure of what I am doing or what i am getting (and tbh dont really know what I really need and dont need).
Which is best or most reliable?
Any help appreciated.

I recommend you download Sopcast. That's a standalone player. You'll be given a link to put in that when the time comes. If you can work WMP, it shall be fairly easy.

Next is Veetle. Unlike Sopcast, it will play in your browser.

Just to add to the above, you can find links to almost any match (in fact, almost any SPORT you want to watch, I'v watched Darts, Cricket, American Football among others) on this website

I get by using only Sopcast and Veetle as posted above. Sopcast is brilliant, the Chelsea vs Hull match the other night was the best stream I ever saw.

Now, you should download Sopcast when there is no match on, because if you attempt to download it at 3pm on a Saturday, you will be left extremely frustrated. Do it at 11 on a Monday morning or something.

Veetle doesn't work in Google Chrome. It does work in Firefox though, you'll see a link for Veetle on that website, just click it and another tab will open, and then the match will play.

Sopcast is a little different. There are usually links on the myp2p website, which you click, and if you have the software installed it automatically launches the software and the stream loads.

Each Sopcast channel has a number, four or five digits long, which you can type directly into the software and click a play button. Most times you can look in here to find the actual channel number people have found to be of good quality.

81774 and 6816 are usually very good quality streaming channels on Sopcast, with English commentary. If you turn one of them on for the Early Saturday Kick Off, you can usually just leave it on all afternoon until the end of the evening game, and see the three "top" games that day.

For smaller games, usually you'll get an equally good stream on myp2p, or posted in here.

The beauty of having both Veetle and Sopcast installed is that you can stream two games at once, and have a match on Setanta Ireland on your telly too.

One last thing.

RTE stream whatever CL match they are showing on TV that evening, so if you have a woman who likes Grey's Anatomy on a Tuesday night, you can still watch the RTE lads and their rants.

And, if you are an Eircom Broadband Customer, you can watch Setanta streams online for free too.

Just to add to the above, make sure you have the latest versions of anything you download. Theres a good few google results that will bring up out dated versions.

Sopcast should be version 3.2.4.

Also, instead of going to find links via myp2p you can somtimes see links in here for sopcast like this.......

(you can simply open sopcast from your desktop and copy and paste the full link to your sopcast address bar and click the arrow). The merseyside derby will show on this channel at 12.45.

Ive been using sopcast, veetle, TVU, streamtorrent etc etc for years and run them through the mill in terms of virus checks etc. Nothing to worry about.
