Have recently broken up with my boyfriend of 5 years and thought I was holding up really well....until this evening when I went to order a take away dinner and realised he wasn't there...usually we would order the satay & sweet and sour and share... so I couldn't decide which to have so had to order both....

Went into town to collect it and realised it was half nine on a sat night and I would be sitting at home on my own eating dinner for 2...

Then I watched Combined Effort on X Factor (check it on youtube) and spent the whole night crying!!!!

Just of of those days I suppose....

Ah, that really sucks sallysaucer. :( I'll try to cheer you up. Here are three ways you're situation tonight is a little superior to mine:

1). My TV emits a high-pitched squeal that makes it impossible to watch anything, including the X Factor, if I so wished.

2). I've never had a girlfriend, including one to break up or share delicious ethnic meals with.

3). Rather than ordering Chinese, somebody rang my house tonight in an effort to order Chinese food. It seems that there's only a one-digit difference between the local Chinese's number and ours. That sucks.

Now, I'm not implying that "you should cheer up damn it! There are far worse people off than you" because that would be insensitive. All I can really say is that you should check that the number you have for the Chinese is absolutely accurate before calling, because those kinds of wrong number calls are seriously annoying.

    If life seems jolly rotten
    There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps
    Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing.

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...
