    Hello all,

I'll be starting in UCC very soon and i get a free registartion to the mardyke gym..

Basically can anyone give me info on a good workout i can do just to keep in good shape.

I'm not overweight and not scrawny either i have been to a gym before and in the end had to pull out due to it being to pricy,I'll be able to go every evening between Monday and Thursday and possibly a Friday afternoon before i head home.

So if anyone can give me help on what to do how much of each thing and how often i'd be delighted..

    Thanks all :)

That good advise. Here's a standard three day split routine, which some people use.
Workout days are well spaced out to allow for rest. You muscles grow on your rest day. All the excercises should be done quite slowly, eight reps per set at three sets each. You could fit cardio in on one of your rest days. You can youtube each exercise or look here for instuction.

    Day one

    Bench Press

    Incline Press

Tricep dips or dumbbell lying tricep extension

    Cable Tricep Kick-Backs.

    Day three

    Squat

    Lunges or leg-press

    Day five

    Deadlift

    Pull-ups or lat-pull down

    Barbell Shoulder Press

    Dumb-bell Lateral Raises

    Cable Bicep-Curl
