Anyone reckon he's gonna compete in this years World's Strongest Man?

Lost out on the stones big time last year. Two more weeks to go.

Also the UK Strongest Man is being televised around Christmas On Bravo.
There was four Irish competitors in the three day event this year.

.59 looks the same as when they are lifting stones and they hitch it up onto their knees then continue the lift..What an Animal..

The second vid the reps look super quick!

I remember watching this clip agesssssss ago, had compleatly forgot his name until it poped up recently. I had thought that kevin nee was the next big thing in american strongmen.

Actually speaking of kevin nee, mtv once featured him in a programe in which he was training for a strongman competition, have searched for it on line, if anyone knows a link then pop it up :pac:

I wonder how the american dudes would do with a mixed medley(carry & drag ,tyre flip, farmers walk say) or super-yoke event.

My favourite is the Pole Push. Guaranteed TV hillarity.

There's a few things to consider.... 9 reps is awesome, but they're touch and go. He'd pull less from a dead stop. Only 8 woulda counted in a PL comp at a stretch. He also is more efficient at pulling touch and go because that's how he trains for strongman so it may be misleading.

That being said, the speed of the first rep was unreal. I wouldn't be surprised to see him pull 900.
