I just started my course this week, I've been talking to other first years who live in the various student villages around the place and the quality of random stories I've heard is priceless!

I'm living at home in Galway at the moment so I was just wondering does anyone have any funny or crazy stories from living in the student villages?

I'll start the ball rolling with a story I've heard. On Tuesday the guy's just sitting in his living room watching tv at like 5 in the evening, these random guys see him in there and climb through the open window with a crate of beers and one of them says "Hey man, can we go drinkin' in here?". They all then proceeded to have a house party!:D

Love college and it's only been one week!

Wednesday night at about 4am there was about 20 lads drinking outside somehouse and trying to get in to the house and when yourone in the house locked the door we lite a fire outside their door then some heavy fella jumped on their three and knocked it to the ground . then security and a paddy wagon was called in and everyone legged it.:o

I've none, apart from the random lads coming into my house to introduce themselves all the time. Are you doing Heritage Studies btw?

Basically they tried to break into a house,then burn the house and knocked down the tree.......stupidest story I've ever heard.

I was in Galway livin in various accomodations about 6yrs ago, from what ive heard from lads i know down there now its got pretty tame..........if living in lurgan park the murrough drive walk through is a great way to do taxi leggers:)

I'm up in the castlebar campus and last week this guy got two bottles taped to his hand's, messin around he smashed the ends of them and started chaseing people with them, then he stabbed the person who was tryin to take them off for him on the hand! Twas freakin hilarious!
