Powerhouse or Hercules?

    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has any experience here of either Powerhouse or Hercules gyms please?

I live and study on Bolton Street and both of these gyms are right next door to me. I'm a sprinter and I'd like to do deadlifting and depth jumping (typically a one hour session).

I'm wondering which one would let me do plyos and if powerhouse opens before 9am (hercules doesn't apparently). Are either of these gyms busy at lunchtime, which would be the only time I'd be able to train at due to college commitments.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong - Hercules is 25e to join and 80e quarterly - Powerhouse is 50e to join and 12.50e weekly?

    Many thanks.

Correct me if Im wrong but isnt powerhouse closed ?
You have the right prices for Hercs, its generally not that busy at lunch.

Plyos might be a bit awkward though depending on what exactly you are doing deadlifting of course no hassle:D

    great thanks for the information.

I guess I'll go down to Hercules on Monday to check it out. Yeah the plyos aren't that messy - just need a box to drop off of and then spring back up off of the floor. I do them directly after each set. Need to find 80 lids now!
