Is it me or has the google search bar changed its font size? It seems bigger, yet everything else seems the same. i've noticed it on 2 computers too.....hmmm, seems a bit odd

Google bar / font size seem same as ever although I haven't changed browser settings on lap top which I'm on at moement

I hate it...I think thinking I've inadvertently changed the view size and keep trying to reset it...plus searching for pron now is more noticeable in the office

Google's actual web-based search home page isn't a primary interface for most experienced web browsers these days, and its dimensions were definitely set before high-resolution, wide-screen monitors came along. So Google bumped up its size, making the search box bigger and the font sizes larger for text input and search suggestions. Small, but definitely helpful change.

I a have theory why but it may not be suitable but here goes.

The most popular search results on google is usually dirty stuff. too much getting off to dirty stuff is rumoured to make you go blind.

So perhaps google decided to combat this by making the font bigger?
