I'm looking for a pay as you go gym in South Dublin, only want to use it for the next two weeks.

Do Total Fitness in Sandyford offer this?
Is there any other gym that does?

    Thanks

They're posted here in the Dublin councils website.

    Thanks for that guys.

@Transform, are you familiar with BHAF in Sandyford? Location-wise it's perfect, but according to the website they seem to have bizarre opening hours ( 1 pm ?? - 9.30) and it doesn't mention much about facilities. Do you know what sort of equipment they have? I'm looking ideally for somewhere with a decent free weights section, weights machines and a basic enough cardio section.

@alanmurphy83, Is Meadowbrook any good? Does it get fairly busy at peak times?

I don't know about peak times. I'm only there at 8 or later.

Depends what you are looking for. If you are looking for a big weightlifting area, with lots of machines, or benches, then no its not good.

If you are looking to go for a run/cycle, light weights, and the odd machine then yeah its grand.

For 6.50 it also includes a "quick dip". haven't figured out what a quick dip is but I normally take it as full swim afterwards.

Went to BHAF today, it's only €8 now (though maybe it's €10 after 6 pm). Was pretty good, was very quiet at the time I was there so no waiting at all, and the staff there are very helpful.

It's a fantastic place to work out. The guys who run it, Robert and Ivan, are great guys who know their stuff and love what they do.
