Earthworm Jim 2 SNES - sound problem

    I got a SNES a couple of weeks ago and today I got my mits on Earthworm Jim 2 for it. However I noticed that the sound effects are rather choppy:

    Have I got a dud cart or is this normal? I know that emulators can have problems with this game but I wouldn't assume that the real SNES would.
