Did anyone actually get more than a tenner from that card that came with the magazine that was in The Irish Times yesterday? Wouldn't it be so nice if you discovered that suddenly you had a grand to spend on some serious shoes like these babies.

So, what would the goddesses of TLL buy?

I wouldn't want a million euro to spend on shoes! I'd buy shoes, sell them all and then spend the money on something much, much better!
A new L key for my keyboard. Typing is so difficult now!

I do love shoes, but there's no way in hell I could even manage to spend a grand on them all in one go, never mind a million!

Clothes are a different story, I could blow a million on clothes easy.

with €1M would you not go straight to the designer and get them to make some custom pieces made up? I mean with that type of money why limit yourself to everyday highstreet stuff o.0

Yes I could.
I would treat it like any other investment and go and invest in rare and limited line runs/editions both present and past and then sell them afterwards having a made a profit.

Eh, didn't really make the post that clear, there's a top prize of €1,000, the million was divided up, so what I really should've said was: what shoes would you buy with a grand?

A grand would keep me in shoes for several years!

I could probably find a pair of expensive (for me) shoes if I looked but I would prefer to get a few mid-range pairs instead!

I would pay off my mortgage and debt. Get a new car and an extension on the house. Then i'd donate a bit to charity. I would then go for one hell of a holiday.

My brother got me a great bag for my Birthday last year actually. He was only fifteen yet he managed to full a fashion blinder!
It's this really nice black clutch with gold stud detail!
