Aaaagh I hate that show, especially her 'dancing' with the crowd (many's the time whilst my mother turned on the show I immediately opened up iTunes, put on my earphones and cranked up the volume for some Stooges / Pixies / anything loud to drone out the insufferable handclaps ).

Yes! Love this site, I don't frequent it so much these days but that doesn't mean I don't love it.

I'm very interested in music, but mainly music from other countries is what really peaks my interest. Slow tunes from Japan, pop from India and merry little songs from Russia. You'll find some great music on youtube from old Russian kids cartoons, all animated and normally very upbeat.

So yeah, what I find interesting i at the moment is House! I absolutely adore this show. I'm halfway through season 2 now.

I've also recently really gotten into Shakespeare. It's tricky reading his stuff on my own, I'm used to having my teacher pretty much translate it for me, but I've been ploughing through it

That's incredible, when I saw this thread was active again I immediately thought of posting about straightdope!

Here's something I find incredibly interesting. A guy with locked-in syndrome answering people's questions very honestly and frankly. Fascinating, and very endearing...

The Film "The Diving Bell and The butterfly" deals with a Man with LIS. Based on a true story, incredibly beautiful film. Definitely a must-see.
