Gonna join that too. Texas Holdem isn't hard to pick up at all, but you might be best off reading the rules on the web first to get some knowledge of it.

there's no info because the brand new committee members haven't had a chance to update the profile of their society.

you could also try the SIN boards, some socs have forums there: http://boards.sin.ie/

as it's still under construction some links are hard to find! sorry about this, we hope to have it all finished ASAP.
if you have further queries on societies you can contact them directly by e-mail, addresses will be available on the soc profile (once they're updated!)

Ya we run events in squareyes. We still are sorting out our calander for the year, and orgnising diffrent nights and events, and need to contact squareyes for allocating special times aqnd prices, but be assured we will be holding events tehre every week/forthnight!

What all do you do in CompSoc anyway?... Is it only computer buffs that join or can anyone join that doesn't really have a clue about them...

But if Gaming is involved then I'm there...

CompSoc is about both Gaming and tech stuff, we are focusing a bit more on gaming this year however.

We have various diffrent events being lined up this year, and do regular things weekly including Console nights, PC LAN nights, Speakers, Nights out, tutorials and gaming tournaments.

You should join any club or society you seem interested in, you will be getting emails and text message throughout the year with whats happening in the societies and events, always a good if you might me bored a certain night. It's not like if you don't attended we kick you out!

I'll be manning the CompSoc table tomorrow from 1 to finish, come over and have a chat with us if your interested in joining! we have great events planned for the year.

- Some dating soc(?)
