Thank you! just booked two days in Paris in October, my wife and I, total charge 4 cents with Entropay!!!!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 188 ✭✭dmaxontour

    What's Entropay?

I paid 30 euro visa charge (for 3 people) Also, free dates didn't totally suit, so we paid 79 euro for the 3 return flights.

entropay is an online version of visa electron. search for entropay on boards there's a whole explanation thread. save you a fortune.

    Thanks OP...

Do I open an Entropay account following the instructions on that blog, then choose VISA Electron (it's the only option with no charges) as my payment type with Ryanair???

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,635 ✭✭✭jenno86

Just booked 4 flights from Knock to Liverpool for the Lyon and Fiorentina Champions League games. Used entropay and got them for a total of €0.08! :D:D:D Happy out! Big thanks OP!

Be sure to open a STERLING entropay account or it won't work

Yeah I noticed that - Just to confirm though; Is Visa Electron the chosen method on Ryanair's dropdown menu??

yes. entropay give you a virtual card with a number, however for card name when booking with ryanair you use ENTROPAY USER.

Look, there is a dedicated thread somewhere for all this and its explained much better than we can do in a back-n-forth like this. Enjoy the free holidays

I used my proper name without any problem

Entropay simply ignore the name and cardholder address when authorizing a payment. You can call yourself Santa Claus and give an address on the moon if you want.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 640 ✭✭✭chris1970

i used own name and opened entropay in euro's worked fine for me! thanks to all got holiday to edinburgh for family for 8 cents lol, anyone know a nice centreal hotel in edinburgh?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,117 ✭✭✭Gazza22

Well it is only selected dates, not everyday. You'll have to do a bit of digging.

The only applicable days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

When registering with entropay do you put in real passport number or make one up thanks.

you have to search through, the $0.01 flights are there if you look, the dates must be between Tue 06th Oct 09 - Thu 10th Dec 09 for one, the destinations must be the ones listed e.g. from dublin http://www.ryanair.com/site/IE/cheapflights.php?dest=ABZ&base=DUB

the flights i booked are leaving dublin-pisa on 14th oct, returning 21 oct total €0.02, but there are loads more, i have seen knock-liverpool return €0.02, dublin-edinburgh, dublin-zadar (croatia)

When you are searching for the dates, click the "flexible" box and it will show you a full week at a time and you will see the cheap days.

Thanks OP!! Booked 2 return flights to London at the end of October for 4cent!!

Didn know Pisa and those other places were aplicable, i might actually book more flights while the going is good!

Getting this message now: "The Ryanair.com booking system is currently unavailable due to essential system maintenance. We apologise for the inconvenience caused by this temporary system outage" do you think they'll fix it before the deadline? or do you think this is all planned??

Also could people help me find some cheap but ok hotels for central london for the 27 - 29 october? Dont know what sites to use, is there any discount gems out there??

Good luck to you goin to Pisa for 7days :P I was there for 1night 2days and ran outta things to do fairly sharply after the tower, ended up in a bowling alley like..id recommend a train trip over to Florence or head over to the beautiful coast..unless you know more hidden things to do in Pisa that is...

I was a hair's breadth away from bookin a night in Pisa yesterday when this thread opened, but pretty much reconciled the same thing when Tripadvisor informed me that it's top 15 things to do were the tower and about 14 chapels!

Don't ignore Pisa - its a great little town, and the airport is 2 mins away from town (unlike other Ryanair destinations) and has excellent connectivity Florence and to the beaches. Pisa itself is really nice and has a large student population (they are nice kids there, not your usual troublemakers).

only planning on staying 2-3 nights in pisa, florence is only down the road and then onto milan for the inter/roma game, a night or two on lake como as well, booked flights out of bergamo for $9.99 since writing my last reply so will probably head back from there, i never stay in the same place when i travel, few nights tops

It seems to be impossible to get Pisa for free now, it's 20 Euro minimum...

Would it be advisable to book return flights in and out of Bergamo for one night to see Milan and do a night there? Is it hard/time consuming/expensive to get to-from Bergamo-city centre??

There's a Ryanair bus from Bergamo to Milan that leaves the airport.

But, Bergamo is awesome for a full days visit. Look up Bergamo Citta Alta on the net!

How much is that Ryanair bus? Or (as if) is it lumped in with the fare?? :op

EDIT: Ah, I already know about the €16 return Terravision bus (same thing), cheerz anyway

Sorry, don't know. When I got to Bergamo I stayed. My wife saw the shopping mall across from the airport (biggest in Italy) and that was the end of it ;)

    Sale extended until midnight tonight!

Just got 3 tickets return to Bristol for €0.06. Wasn't sure about staying an extra night, so booked a second return flight for €0.03. If I cancel the earlier return flight is there any charge? Or do I just tell them at the airport on arrival? I booked via Entropay.

    LOL

With much research, googling, pricing, planning, cojoling mates and other halves, phone calls etc in the last 48 hours; I've run my number of flights booked up to a ridiculous 28, for a whopping €66 total, spread across trips to Brussels, Rome, London, and Liverpool.

Also it might be of use to point out that you can visit http://www.ryanair.com/site/EN/cheapflights.php?dest=BHD&base=STN&pos=cday for their UK site, where there are a lot more free options from Stansted, which is reachable for €0.02 return from Dublin, if you don't mind the odd hour spent in London on a transfer.
