Getting a car to the scrapyard

    Hi All,

I have a car that's ready to be scrapped. Still driveable, but wouldn't pass an NCT and it's not worth putting more money into it.
I've not driven it in a few months, and the insurance has lapsed in the meantime.

Would someone with open insurance be able to drive it there? Or do you know of any companies that would insure it for a day?

Other than that it's either beg for a tow, or pay the scrapper to collect it, I'd rather get it sorted with the minimum of cost/effort.

    Thanks!!
