exhibit a) a dog

will love you forever but tends to piss and sh!te everywhere untill trained otherwise and not the most inteligent creatures on the planet it has to be said



or exhibit b) a cat

will put up with you while you feed it but if the food is better next door, its going there instead. Can have funny expresions and does extremely stupid things when is a kitten

An Atari Jaguar is every bit as entertaining as a cat or dog, and has much fewer needs. Mainly, I dont have to walk it, or clean up its poo.

Definitely a dog.
If you die in a locked room with a cat, the cat will eat you to survive.

If you die in a locked room with a dog it will die of starvation rather than do that.

Cats though I like them, don't do loyalty.

im agreeing with dog....

i was given a cat a few weeks ago and at first it was nice, it just sat there and played with its string and didnt annoy me,

now however she has discovered she can jump and no one is safe.

there is a button on my keyboard that puts the computer into hibernate mode and she has pressed it 4 times in the last week...and I'd swear she grinned at me the last tim she did it:(

Correct and right.

Step 1: do NOT give to girlfriend/s.o. to watch over as you drive your parents back to the train station.

I would prefer to have a dog.Unfortunately I have a cat(which I love).

Dogs are friendlier and are much better company.Cats don't need much maintenance.I would say that if you have the time and effort for a dog.Dogs are much better!

Love 'em both but dogs are really dirty, needy and high-maintenance and cats aren't always affectionate.

So the ideal pet for me is one that doesn't require a lot of attention (simply because I'm not around much - work for one thing) and is independent, clean and affectionate.

Some cats actually are affectionate if enough affection is shown to them, so I'd consider a cat a more ideal pet for me personally. But dogs do rock. I mind friends' and family's dogs.

Of puppies and kittens, which are funnier? I'm undecided but veering in the direction of kittens.

I prefer dogs. I feel they just prefer your company than cats. And cats will sneak away if the food is better somewhere else, like the OP said.

But I do find lolcats very funny so cats are also cool.

Dogs definitely. They're called man's best friend for a reason. Cats are funny though, some videos on You Tube of cats have taught me that but I still don't trust them. I love dogs.
