How difficult is it for Gardai to investigate a case of constant intimidation?Do the Gardai have powers to prevent intimidation while the case is waiting to be heard in court?

If this is regarding an ongoing incident at present.... go to your local garda station or speak to a solicitor

Yes that would be an obvious course of action.I'm just wondering what difficulties are involved in investigating such an incident? How is a victim protected? Is it just a case of reporting each individual incident until they are heard in court or otherwise?

Maybe my first post wasnt that clear.

What i meant was if this is a current problem they are your only options as no one on here is going to give you advice on a current criminal matter,

If on the other hand you are just wondering what would happen if this incident ever happened in the future and how it would be dealt with, there may be people on here willing to tell you what is involved.

I will refrain from offering advice in this as i believe that this is in regards to a real situation at present which may result in a criminal investigation

This is not related to an ongoing matter and I am not seeking advice.I am just curious. It would seem to me that proving a case of intimidation would be difficult.I am just wondering what legislation has to say re intimidation and how a victim is protected.simple as that.
