Eating left-over take-away food the next morning....

Woke up this morning with the usual sick head from last nights feed of pints, down to the fridge where I was greeted with left-overs from last night. A lovely box of: chips, cheese, kebab meat, burger sauce, lettuce, onion and a few other bits thrown in... heaven. Sorted my stomach right out :) Although it was probably that food last night that turned my stomach in the first place.

Oh, and before any of you wimps say "You should have eaten it all last night you big girls blouse" - I bought 2 portions last night... one for last night and one for this morning :D

PS. Any chance of a lift to A&E, I feel this heart attack coming on any minute now....

I often eat pizza that was left over from the night before, tastes better the next day :pac:

I dunno if I'd eat chips and kebabs though

Depends on the leftovers. A three-in-one tray goes solid and gross shocking quickly.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,445 ✭✭✭jd83

3 in 1 is the one with chips right. Chips get all soggy so there not really nice unless you eat them straight away.

I generally go by the 2 day rule. Once its not growing any type of a fur its save to eat 2 days after delivery.

Kebab meat does not keep at all!

I am a big fan of left overs, had a heap of pasta bake for my breakfast!

Was getting wicked hassle about it in work, granted it was 8:30 and I was horsing through chili, garlic and peperroni pasta. Got a seriously good stink going in the canteen, was delighted.

Sure in the u.s when they go out to a restaurant they end up taking half the meal home with them and eating it next day. They should introduce doggy bags over here.

Woke up last saturday morning and turned over to see an angus burger box from burger king beside my bed. I opened it to be greated with half the burger. It was really hit the spot!!

I have often eaten the left overs of taco fries etc which I often find on the kitchen table after a night out, always tastes great.

I've often lashed some cold leftover Indian or Chinese food between two slices of toast in the morning.

Tastes even better than the night before. I'm convinced, subconsciously in my drunkenness, that I make sure to leave enough aside for a morning feast.

Yeah people want fresh milk in the morning because there's no demand for UHT milk since it's ****e.

I'm telling you, UHT milk is lovely.

I really don't see what people have against. I bet a load of people haven't tried it because of Father Ted!

7 out of 10 Europeans drink it, yet only 10% of Irish people do. I would drink it if I could find it :pac:

Most people have tried it. It's OK in very small doses - I take shots of the ones you get in McDonald's. However, poured into a bowl of cereal or a pint glass it's ****ing rank. The reason so many Europeans drink it is because fresh milk is not freely available in a lot of continental countries, especially during the summer. Their hotter climates and low precipitation don't allow for the quality pasture needed to support good dairy cows. Say what you like about Ireland but we have arguably the best milk in the world. Ungrateful philistine.
    You people make me sick.

Aye, I'm sure your caviar-covered crumpets are a much better cure.
