iirc Paul Warrwick was at the ML launch representing Munster last season...

Paul is being a good little boy by tucking in his jersey!

I'm betting its simply that they needed to continue the receding hairline - Leo's isn't bad, and wouldn't have fit in at all.

edit: i mean look at it, Paul Tito stands out like a sore thumb :P

Might do a similar job to Mick O'Driscoll.

He's a fantastic player, but he's not going to shift Rob Kearney from the Ireland jersey in all likelihood, and Murphy should be next in line for that jersey, but he'll definitely play a fair bit in the Magners League.

Is that Ryan Jones in the Ospreys kit?

Highly doubht he be captain if he is not likely to start games! Could be wrong though. . .

I would love to see what CCC would come up with if they did the Connacht jersey. .:D .

It'd probably be Yellow with wavy streaks of aluminoius brown.

Mark Jones was outside Best until the official photo was cropped.

From Leinstefans anyway: The Leinster team were still in Nice when the photoshoot happened, Dempsey didn't travel due to the birth of his son.

Teams all in red stand out more. (And win more.)

He doesn't look that much smaller, but he could well be, because he's not had time for a proper pre-season really.

It's crazy how you can like a team but completely dislike the fans associated with the team, respect to munster team, complete disrespect to the munster fans!!

PS Athenry's in Galway!:P clever original chant idea their!

Yeah, looks like two teams have gone for dodgy Liverpool rip offs. :p

But nah, red is an advantage for a team, so I can see why both Munster and the Scarlets are doing their best to capitalise.

You're not suggesting that the red shorts will augment their performance surely?!

But at least it's comforting to know that in my province, corporate branding is more highly prioritised than performance, tradition and aesthetics all put together.

Come on the boys in blue magic.

    Manchester United, Munster, Liverpool.

If a particular jersey color meant that you would be more likely to win, then I'd say everyone would be in all black. . .

And Connachts away strip is all black. Need I say more?:D

Nah, seriously, look it up, teams wearing red win slightly more often than any other colour.

Too true. Soon I will have to bury my old Bank of Scotland Jersey. That was the best. Thank god i bought the players one.

R.I.P Leinsters Gold, apart from the inside neck tape

How did Tito ever play for the NZ maori? The head on him, looks like an Irish stereotype more than anything else.

My guess as to why Cullen wasn't in the photo is that they couldn't fit his mangled ears into the shot(and the sight of him scares children).

    "Ye" isn't a word you r@tard!

I also know that it's an “E” rather than an “@”; sign above so don't bother pointing that out!

2nd city/province syndrome, it’s always good for laugh!

Certain lack of forum decorum there I think.

    AJ has a point,

There was an yank on the D'arcy show a while back explaning all about it. Anyhow she predicted football results just by the team colours and was amazing high.

Guess he is going away after all...

Given we've established that Dempsey isn't captain... what kind of a job would he do if he was? A team could do worse than Dempsey as captain, but.. they could also do a massive amount better. He always struck me as very focused on his own game, I don't know how that'd translate across to being captain. Not very well, I suspect.

    I would agree.

He has a wealth of experience, but doesn't possess the leadership and motivational qualities of BOD or Cullen. He just doesn't strike me captain material, as you say he is more focused on his own game, which he has done very well mind.

You never know if he is truly like that. If you look at matches, granted he plays full back and he seems quiet and focused, but in training during the week it could be a different story. He could be right up there with BO'D (who isn't a great captain all the time I beleive but an excellent player) and frankly, Cullen doesn't cut it for me, but in training and when the team needs it maybe he is a great leader. Same with Dempsey. It also has to do with respect.

I think D'Arcy would make an excellent captain cuz he comes across as being honest, hardworking and inspirational.

    You never know. . .

I mean look at Easterby (Simon) , he seemed quiet and focused on his game. Didn't seem to say much on the pitch. But he captained the side a few times, allbeit in the absence of BO'D and PO'C.

    :)
