guys i might be posting this in the wrong area, but im sure someone might be able to give me advice,

right i love taken photos of just about everything

want to buy a digital SLR camera, living in the uk now so there is a good bargin to be found over here, but i have no idea what im looking for except the fact i need a Digital SLR , could someone give me guidelines on what make to get what lenses to use , im only a starter so dont want to pay a massive amount roughly in the £400 mark.

any advice would be welcomed

The Photography forum is what you want. It has a lot of threads on this very topic. The Canon 450D seems to be a popular first dSLR.
