    I replaced the manual numbering with the automated numbering.

    Also, according to my timing I was 5:10, but these results have me 5:19:confused:

    Would have done better if it wasnt for the call of nature half way through the bike stage (energy gels and caffeine tablets arent a good combo!)...if anyone saw me hunkered down in a field, apologies!;)

    Well done PeterX.

    Very happy with my result. GoHard managed to keep my Kayaking in check across the fjord :D I went thru hell with my calf on the first run and cramp on the bike. Some of ye may have heard me roaring like a lunatic on the bike stage. I'm looking forward to Achill ROAR!!!

    Not too happy with my time at all. Was expecting to be in the 5.5 hour region but messed up my knee during the cycle. CP was just a chore after that.

        Well done lads. Now comes the analysis. I realise from my times that I am on average 15 mins slower on the Croagh Patrick stage than the other guys who had similar overall times to me. So thats what I willl be working on for next year. What do the results tell you guys about your performance ?

        Well done to all, PeterX, Da Pope thats a great finish. I taught it was a great race. Pity about the rubbish tippers and the lads running without their kit. I asked a guy going CP where was his bag and he replied, I dunno. Langer !!

        My bike's derailer was pused up into the wheel and the chain off as I got to the transition, apparently one of the Bike Racks fell, pity they couldnt have put my bike back in the right rack :-) lost some time sorting that out.

        Happy enough. Aim was really to finish. I realise now I put too much training into the running and the cycling killed me. Used to cycle years ago so I stupidly assumed I'd get back into it no bother. Boy did I get some rude awakening.

        Well done to everybody, I felt i had to post my result as alot of the advice you guy's posted coming up to GFW was great. This was my 1st time doing a race of any type and only started training for it 7 weeks ago so i'm well chuffed with my result , can't wait to smash it next year :)
