    scary and insane but....

it a lot safer then leaving a kid for 2 mins in a room with un-anchored roll up blind chains

It's safer than headbutting a working chainsaw. Or shooting yourself in the face with a shotgun.

    The list goes on.

Please don't say you're trying to use this as any sort of an argument..

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 15,914 ✭✭✭✭tbh

    no, I'm just asking a question :)

edit: google says it's a 500 year old tradition and none have been killed or injured. Still, probably time to call a halt, it can only be a matter of time.

Christ guys..this is old news...in fact it was on boards about 2 years ago...or maybe it was bbc.
Go onto you tube and you'll see about 20 babies being tossed down.
None have ever got hurt..some type of baptism ceremony.

Thats to make sure they are limp/loosened up. If they were dropped tensed they might do some damage.

You are right, Im so sorry.

Damn it! I can do nothing right today.

I should not say stuff without doing extensive research on it first! Dropping a young infant off a roof is the right thing to do.

    Once again my deepest apologies.

no need to get snippy dude, I was asking a genuine question. I don't think it's a thing that should continue, but it's obviously not the most dangerous thing in the world either.

Aim for Harney - ya can't possibly miss her!

Then again, she wouldn't be seen near Liberty Hall.
That would mean coming close to something that advocates workers right!

Next they will be walking bare foot on some island chanting prayers, starving them little selfs, while avoiding sleep for three days.

    Weirdos really.

A fairly good example of the whole "its a tradition" argument being very very wrong.

    Just because it's a tradition doesn't mean it's a good idea ;)

At the same time though, those babies are some tough fukkers!

Back strain lifting him to the roof, and a few of the onlookers crushed. I doubt any babies will be hurt :D
