    ta. :)

i knew i'd seen it as a selling point.

is wireless N still 2.4ghz, or is it 5ghz?

i've seen 5ghz wifi equipment out there, but i'm not sure if 5ghz and wireless N are part of the same doohicky or if they're independent. i.e. can you have a 5ghz wireless G set up, or would it be N only? too much bloody technology. :(

EDIT: seems like you can have 5ghz wifi in both N & G wireless standards and you don't need one to have the other.

I'm moving from UPC soon and they are looking for their "my" modem back. Anyone else hear of this?

Don't drag up old threads, and it's not "your" modem, it was just on loan. It always remained UPC's property. A cable modem is useless to you anyway.
