Too many men?

Does anyone think there are too many men here? When we're discussing grooming and trimming and they come in drooling about vaginas, it's a bit annoying.

Ah, tbh I think it's only few and in general, the sleazy comments are made by new users who have no idea of the rules etc. The regulars are a lovely bunch of guys and I appreciate a male opinion! I know this is tLL but all the same, I think it's good to get a male view on womanly issues! Wouldn't be the same without 'em, in my opinion.

There was one guy with less than 100 posts. Where else are us guys drooling about vagina's?? Believe it or not, they're not the prettiest thing in the world.

fwiw OP, I agree.

I have a proposal. What if, just as an experiment, we make tLL ladies' only for a week, just to see what it's like.

An announcement could be made giving a week or two weeks' notice of the experiemnt and then from the start time any males to post in the forum get banned for the duration of hte experiment.

I haven't discussed this with the other Mods, it's literally just a spontaneous suggestion, just to see what the everyday impact of having blokes in here really is.

I've yet to see that. And anything deemed inappropriate is clamped down on by the mods. I think you're being very exclusionary. What's wrong with guys frequenting the Ladies' Lounge?

Yup you get idiots on the internet, best thing you can do is report the posts for the mods to deal with, they are a good bunch the ladies lounge mods and have no qualms permabanning people if needs be.

Some wonderful guys post wonderful stuff on the Ladies' Lounge - it would be a poorer place without them. I think it's a shame they're being, in a way, "punished" because they happen to have a penis in common with guys who act the idiot here (and get banned quickly anyway).

I enjoy posting in the ladies lounge, there's intelligent conversation and much less messing than other forums. I come here to read interesting topics, stay out of the overly womanly threads and chat with interesting people. I do my best to refrain from adding in controversial opinions and try go with the flow of the forum. I like reading about different points of view on this forum and it has helped me to see certain topics from a female point of view.

I've been reading a lot of the threads and every now and again the ladies do complain about too many guys, which is fair enough. It's your forum after all. I'm not going to plead with the general populace here to let guys stay, if we aren't wanted. Which is the feeling I'm getting, unfortunately.

This thread was done very recently.

OP as Thaed suggested just keep reported the posts for now. We WILL look for feedback again, but not for a bit of time yet. There seems to be some male ego's still a little dented from the last time.

I know this thread was closed but i just wanted to say something, when the guys were posting here at first it was like oh this is a womens forum, guys should not be posting here. And when the guys stopped posting some of the ladies were posting "your a bunch of men hating feminists" or "your a bunch of fuzzy pink all that is important is make up boys cloths and hair fuzzies".

Personally i think the guys who do post here help with the balance we have, which is every even some times it tips one way of the other but generally we have a thread to suit everyone.

I for one enjoy reading the male perspective on things and there has been many conversations in here that have been started by guys and have been very interesting and informative to read for me as a woman.

As for the male mod thing, it started off with Zaph winning the ability to mod any forum christmas 12 months ago, for a week. But he was great and cut out a lot of the bull and he stayed... then he was stolen by that shower over on PI and well we liked having a male mod, and Wibbs was always a great contributor to the forum and asked him if he was interested and he took to our forum like a fish to water. He gives great points of view and advice and i love having him around.
