Advice for my new site - todayilold.com

Hey guys, looking for some advice here.

I've recently started promoting my new website - Today I Lol'd

It's going fairly well, but I need to promote in new ways. I've already created a facebook page and twitter account. I've also blogged about it.

I've put it on my sigs on a few forums, and some friends have kindly done the same.

Is there much else I can do? I don't really have much money right now so paying for stuff won't be easy.

Every little helps, so I'd appreciate anything you guys have to say. Feel free to join and/or submit some stories by the way, or join the facebook page/suggest to friends - I think it's the kind of site everyone can enjoy.

Quite like the concept...like submit your own funny/joke twitter...could do well if you can get it to go viral...Id submit it to stumpleupon, dig and other social bookmarking sites.

Social bookmarking is something I've never quite gotten, I'll have to look into it. Thanks a lot for those links.

It's been submitted to stumbleupon and that brings some serious traffic for me actually. I tried digg but it didn't do so well, will definitely try again though.

I think its an excellent idea..very simple yet very addictive..

I think viral marketing is the key to this been successful. As another poster said get it mentioned on those social networking sites and who knows what happens.

Design isnt great but that can be improved with time..
