    Hi Guys,

I've recently started seeing a girl that loves animals. I know she loves foxes. I was just wondering if you know a place where you can see/ pet tame foxes? Or a similar natural wildlife sanctuary. I'd like to surprise her by taking her to see some. Can anyone advise anywhere around the dublin, kildare, wicklow, meath area?

    Thanks

I believe Ash Animal Rescue in Wicklow have two permanent fox residents. I'm not sure how tame they are though. Maybe give them a call and if you take your lady friend you could give them a donation towards their rescue for allowing you to visit?:D

Not sure about Ireland but if you Google there should be some places in the UK not tame but areas where you can fox watch from a hide.

Go for a nighttime drive around Dublin city. They're everywhere.

Petting a 'tame' fox is one way of getting bitten.

There are loads of foxes in the city centre and in the suburbs around it and they have very little fear.

If she likes animals bring her to the zoo.

I don't know if it's possible to actually arrange to meet this man, but check out these photos of a man and his pet fox "Gráinne" from Thomastown in Kilkenny- pics are beautiful.

There is a very tame fox that resides not too far from Seapoint, I have been as close as three feet of him on several occasions. Im sure If I offered him some meat I could have touched him. :)
