I am hoping to fit a woodburning stove into our greedy coal hungry fireplace. But i am hearing conflicting stories regarding fitting.
Do i require a new insulated stainless steel flue..? or is it just an advantage regarding condensation..ect..

and secondaly regarding the plumbing for hot water and rads..In the past i presume there was a backboiler fitted to the fireplace as ther is 2 pipes running down the side of the chimney.I was wondering can i just connect these to the back of the new stove or is ther more to it...?..I presume there is.as always.

Any info would be greatly appreciated
