Hair Stylist in Dublin/Kildare

I am 26 years old and am looking for a new hair style. People constantly comment that i look much younger then i am, generally that i look 18 :)! I am often asked for ID going into pubs. Im sure in years to come i will be delighted with this but presently i am a working professional and would like to appear more mature and sophisticated.

I am looking for a good stylist in south or west dublin or kildare. I have medium length dark blonde wavy hair. Luckily it is not frizzy, however despite using moose or serum it does not hold its curl very well at the moment.

I have previously had a bodywave done in a salon in newbridge but am looking for other options. any advice or recommendations for a good hairdresser would be really appreciated. Thanks

Looking young is a great thing, you should be delighted! I'm insulted if I don't get asked for ID!

But anyway, Bobbs in Clane, Co. Kildare is the best hairdressers around. Talented bunch of girls and so lovely too. They work wonders and will literally do whatever you tell them to! I can't sing their praises enough :)

Anna in Fusion in the Green Isle is brilliant.

I HATED going to the hairdressers for the past 20 odd years. Never would cut my hair properly, always had it lobsidded and never looked like any of the cuts in mags, until I found Brown Sugar in Dublin 2

Its a funky little hair dresser, and the staff are amazing. You are offered a drink or champagne while waiting and when they are washing your hair they bring you into a small seperate room. The lights are dimmed, low music playing and the chair moves so you are lying down, instead of sitting and it massages you too. AMAZING!!

The guy I use is Christian and he is amazing! Just the best hair dresser I have ever been to. Go to their website and you will see some of his stuff. He sits there and talks to you about what you want, if he doesnt think it will suit you, he will let you know and suggest something else. He actually wants you to be happy and leave with gorgeous hair.

Every time I go to see him, I come out with hair like Nadine Coyle from girls aloud. not straight and boring. Its fab! would Deffo recommend him. Have sent at least 5 of my friends to him and they adore him

Thanks guys, i checked out website for brown sugar, looks fab! although not sure where to go,
€85 is lot to pay if you have hair styled in way that it regularly needs trimming. What do others think? or any other suggestions?

Bobbi in Peter Marks in Whitewater in Newbridge has babysat me through monthly cuts growing my hair out from a very very very short crop to a specific style I wanted from a magazine shot.

She's great, not too pushy, remembers exactly what we discussed each month, and I always leave chuffed to bits with how my hair looks, she made growing my hair a joy, rather than the nightmare of having it all fluff out and look wider rather than longer.

I'm not a fan of Peter Marks generally, but Bobbi is great.
