Totally depends on your aims and protein and calorie requirements. Most people tend to eat a tub as one, or at most, two snack meals.

    Making cottage cheese taste better.....

Dissolve a packet of sugar free jelly in about 1/3 of a pint of hot water.
Throw a tub of cottage cheese into the blender. Add some of the hot jelly.
Blend until smooth and no curds remain.
Add a tray of ice cubes to the jelly mixture, stir till it starts to gel.
Throw into the blender (on top of the CC) and blend until you can't hear any ice rattling.
Pour into about four containers and chill

Makes a lovely fluffy pudding which doesn't taste of cottage cheese

crush a small clove of garlic, add some walnuts and mix all together. and believe me you'll fly through your cottage cheese like it's a bag of crisps!

OP: Is your user name the sound you make when you eat cottage cheese?

Personally, I think cottage cheese is okay.

not bad, Eileen would it be a good idea to eat some of this everyday to help lose weight? Is cottage cheese good for that, I know low fat cottage cheese is good, just not sure are about cottage cheese

The 95 cent 300g tub of low fat cottage cheese of in Tesco is the best value I've found. I've found.

It looks like that picture except it doesn't have pineapple (blue stripe instead of yellow).

The Yoplait stuff has a pretty poor nutritional profile, especially when compared to the Tesco stuff, then again so does most of the Yoplait food.

It's a good low cal snack that provides some decent protein. Any sort of cottage cheese is fine. Even the full fat stuff is only about 3-5% fat.
