on the cao form i have applied for an ordinary level civil engineering(level 7). this is my first choice on the level 7 side. i got offered this last year but declined and repeated maths this year.
i now have the required c3 in higher maths to do the honours.
on my level 8 choices i have civil engineering down as my third choice ( in the same institute)
I can be almost certain of me being offered both my first choices.
i.e ill get me first level 8 and the level 7 civil engineering. i dont think il be able to do my first choice lv8 so my question is would it be possible to accept the level 7 and arrange with the college to take up the level 8 civil eng without being offered it through the cao?

    apologies if this is unreadable:)
