Energy Snack

Can anybody recommend a small healthy snack that would help me with some much needed energy.

Basically I have been doing weights and cardio for the last three weeks and eating fairly healthy. The last few days I have been feeling really sluggish and resorted to eating a small dairmilk bar yesterday during work.

This done the trick but obviously not ideal for what im trying to do, so is there anything I can do during the day to give a bit of a lift??

Just have a sandwich dude, problem with chocolate or any of thoese high sugar snacks is that they may cause you to crash, meaning the end of your workout suffers.

Slow release carbs about an hour before and you should fine.

+1 or even an apple or two would be good .. apples are great!! Theres noting wrong with the odd bar of chocolate though, as long as your doing enough to burn it off

I'd say move the timings around, have a salad or something at lunch & move the sandwich to preworkout.
